The purpose of this blog post is to provide users information on how to redeem a Moonfall IMAX NFT available with the purchase of an IMAX ticket to the Lionsgate movie, Moonfall, as described in the official terms and conditions. What type of ticket do I have to purchase to be eligible for a Moonfall IMAX NFT?

Autograph users are invited to celebrate the launch of Moonfall with a limited edition commemorative NFT from Autograph when you purchase an IMAX movie ticket to see Moonfall at a participating location for Preview Night (2/3/22). Purchasers will receive an email to redeem an exclusive NFT souvenir of their attendance. An Autograph account is required & can be set up by following the link provided by the theater or ticketing provider. Users must purchase an IMAX ticket online to the Preview Night screenings on 2/3/22 for Moonfall between the dates of 1/25/22 - 2/3/22 in order to be eligible to redeem a Moonfall IMAX NFT. If you are eligible for this promotion, you will receive an email or other redemption information from the theater or ticketing provider where you bought the ticket. That email (or other information) will provide you with a link to claim your NFT, while supplies last, and instructions on what to do.

What is the timeline for when I should expect to receive my Moonfall IMAX NFT?

IMAX tickets must be purchased online between 1/25/22 and 2/3/22. The deadline to redeem the Moonfall IMAX NFT associated with your ticket is 11:59pm Pacific Time on 3/6/22. NFT minting & distribution will begin after 2/10/22 and will continue weekly, with the last batch of NFTs expected to be minted by 3/8/22. Depending on when users complete the redemption process, they should expect to receive their NFT in the subsequent minting & distribution timeslot (benchmark). In each case, timing of the minting of the Moonfall IMAX NFTs is subject to technical requirements including network congestion. Transfers of these Moonfall IMAX NFTs into a External Non-Custodial Wallet will not be enabled until after 3/8/22, with the timing for enabling that functionality in Autograph’s discretion. What is the Moonfall NFT I will receive?

Each user who redeems their unique link associated with their IMAX ticket will receive a Moonfall IMAX NFT which depicts a moon rock. Users can receive one (1) of five (5) variations of the moon rock which will be sequentially assigned at the time of redemption (i.e., the first user in line gets version Alpha, the second user in line gets version Beta, the third user in line gets version Gamma; after a user receives version Epsilon, the next user in line receives version Alpha, and so on). See table below for the possible NFTs and their maximum edition count.

What are the instructions to redeem this Moonfall NFT?

Users who purchase an IMAX ticket within the window mentioned above will receive an email from the corresponding ticketing distributor with a link to redeem the NFT. Users should adhere to the following instructions for redeeming their NFT:
  • After you receive your email, but no earlier than 2/4/2022, click the unique link in the email provided, or follow the redemption instructions provided (as applicable), to redeem your limited edition NFT via Autograph.io
  • Create your free Autograph.io account or login in to your existing account
  • Once you are logged in you will be redirected to a redemption page where your unique code should be pre-populated. Click “Redeem” to confirm agreement with the Terms & Conditions and claim your NFT.
  • After the NFT is minted the exclusive Moonfall IMAX NFT will be placed in your Autograph Wallet, as described above
  • You can view your NFT by logging into your account at Autograph.io
